Established
and registered in 1980, the Bhaktivedanta Swami Gurukula
School is situated in Australia's main Hare Krishna rural

PS is a small rural school situated 4kms out of
Murwillumbah. It prides itself on outstanding

Stokers
Siding Primary School is a small school nestled in the
heart of the Tweed Valley. We take pride in our relaxed,
friendly atmosphere and strong parental involvement and
support. We have a team of highly skilled and enthusiastic
teachers who encourage a love of learning.
We
operate a play group on Monday mornings for
toddlers and those prior to pre-school. There is
a well resourced and strongly linked pre-school
program on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
called Tiptoe into Kindy. A feature of that
program is the lush veggie garden that the group
enjoy working with and watching grow. They also
spend regular time with our Kindy room to
familiarize themselves with formal educational
experiences. Primary school kicks in at
Kindergarten and then goes through until Year 6,
with the Year 7 – 12 program on the other side
of the two lagoons on the same campus. Large,
spacious ovals and great play areas abound.

St Patrick is a co-educational Secondary College operating
within the system administered by the Catholic
Education Office. It was opened in 1926 by the
Presentation Sisters and was administered and
staffed by them until 1989. It derives its name
from St Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland,
whose feast day is celebrated by both the
College and local communities.
Wollumbin
High School was established in 1995 to relieve the
pressure on Murwillumbah High School. The award-winning
design of the school sees
mostly two-storey buildings wrapping around a hill-side,
with spectacular views across fields of sugar-cane to the
Border Ranges, including Mt
Warning and the Springbrook escarpment in
Queensland. With a population of around 460 students, the
school is proud of the range of subjects
available and the many accomplishments of its students
and staff.
